Project Management of the London Fashion Forum (LFF)
Project; where emerging companies were supported
in maximising their opportunities in London via the LFF's Boutique
in Kingly Court, Carnaby, London .

Textile Designer Promotion Project including
the Fashion Advisory Board (FAB) Workshop; where six specially selected fashion design
companies were given 1-to-1 business advice by six London-based fashion
industry experts in the fields of Buying, Styling, Marketing, Media
Relations, Design and Product Development.

The Scottish Textiles Design Network was formed to address what support and business development issues are facing the emerging designer fashion and textile accessories (commercial high-end and luxury lifestyle market).
Velvet Boutique undertook extensive UK-wide research, facilitated Design Network meetings, consulted emerging Scottish Textile businesses and forged links with a number of business support organisations including the Fashion Business Resource Studio at the London College of Fashion. We reported back not only to Scottish Enterprise Textiles but to the participating businesses and all the Scottish business support organisations including The Lighthouse, CraftScotland the Cultural Enterprise Office and the Scottish Arts Council.
Collaborations with The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Architecture, Design and the City include:
- Velvet Boutique at the Lighthouse, Glasgow where eight Velvet Boutique designers were selected to work collaboratively with Jeda Lewis and the Lighthouse to produce a unique exhibition at the Lighthouse while retailing their innovative products in Form. See the participating designers here
- Buy Designer Markeplace , Stirling, where 28 design companies from fashion to furniture, jewellery to knitwear, ceramics, accessories, interior textiles and more showcased and sold their collections to the discerning public during the very first Six Cites Design Festival.
